Should I buy it?
Guy at work wants to sell a 78 F**d 1/2 ton for $200. Has 351M engine, new tires. Runs good, cab good, bed sucks. If I got it, I would probably beat on it or trade it for some Chevy parts.

If it runs good buy it and use it to haul parts trash or sell it for a profit and buy cheby parts. If the beds shot and you have the equipment build a flatbed for it. Hell for 2 bills you could use it as a demo junker and not be out enough money to worry about too much.

Except I have never seen a demolition derby yet where a Ford truck has won, ever. They always crap out long before any small block Chevy ever will.

Buick v6 and chevy small block are the best demo derby engines. F**D and mopar engines just can't run for more than 1 minute w/out water.
