water pump question
I have to replace the water pump on my 70 swb. I was thinking of upgrading to an after market one, first I want to find out what you guys think. Is it worth it to buy an after market one? Are they better? Wich one is a good one to buy? Any information greatly appreciated.

Re: water pump question
Not even sure you can still buy rebuilt water pumps, if you can , DONT, buy an airtex or a good brande, and what is considered an aftermarket? anything other than a/c delco? make sure you get the right one, there are short shafts and long shaft water pumps, pulley alignment will be affected if the wrong one is installed.......

Re: water pump question
The extra flow from an aftermarket pump is worth the effort.
