need inspiration
I have a 69 chevy 3/4 ton I am redoing. I am in high school so I don't have a whole lot of money. I bought this almost 4 years ago. At the time I didn't know what I was doing. This truck was and still is very rusty. I replaced the bed, so that is in good shape. The frame is in good shape also. However, the cab is about as rusty as they come. All the mounts are rusted, cab corners are very bad, rockers and the outer 4 inches of the cab floor are gone and there are holes in the kick panels and a few in the fire wall. I am attached to this truck because it is my first vehicle. I don't really want to replace the cab because I already replaced the bed and if I replaced the cab the only thing left of the original truck is the front clip, which I resently decided was barely salvageable. So have you guys ever restored a cab in this bad of shape. I need some type of inspiration.
thanks a lot brad |
