shaving the MC and booster?
hey guys,
just curious to know where you are relocating your master cylinder and booster when you shave the firewall. i've gone looking on the net but so far i've had no luck. ideas thoughts pictures and or links would be greatly appreciated. thanks, ondrew |

Not sure this is possible with original pedal set-up.Maybe something custom.Do people shave these?I`ve personally never seen it.What about using something prettier?Like for street rods.

No Limit engineering and some other companies have a "universal" brake kit that mounts under the cab to the frame rails. One of the guys on here has this mod done to his suburban, I just can't recall his name. Hope this helps and if you do this, please keep us posted as to how it works. I'm hoping to do this mod, but it will be summer or later before I'll be able to get to it. Thanks, ......Jerry

I've talked to a guy that used this company on his '49 and he said they were great to deal with and no question was a stupid question, if you know what I mean. Sound like top-notch people and they're over here on the east coast so i may use them.

yup I got i from them, I did not order the booster and mc with it though,
its a nice kit, just a bolt in deal, but since I had done some work to my frame after shortening it I will have to clearence some things. In my pic it is just sitting in place, not the actual location the booster will wind up at. |
