Re: Steering wheel pics needed

I've seen this steering wheel in numerous 67-72's and I'll probably use it in my '69 when the time comes. This is a Chevelle/Corvette/Nova steering wheel if I'm not mistaken.

I really like it, it fits me perfect (5'9"). With the supercharged stroker motor, it's kinda like NASCAR......

You have any pics with you sitting behind it? I am 6'1 ,210lbs and don't think I can fit behind a 4.5in deep wheel. Anyone else have other models installed?

I love the look of the wooden wheel. If I ever get another 67-72, I will probably put one of them in.

Re: Steering wheel pics needed

clos69 - I am 6'4" 250 and the wheel is ok for me(much better than stock however), arm position is a little better and gut room is fine also. Foot position is the real killer for me as I need to go back about 1' for the pedal to feel correct and not kill my leg muscles after a 1 hour drive...but that isn't changing - ugh - I can't say this wheel/truck is comfortable in any sense of the word, just "better than stock"...

I want a bango style wheel, I have a brand new 17" factory wheel I would trade or sell for the right deal.
