can anyone Id this?
I got this out of a 72 c/10 I'm pretty sure that it is a truck tilt. the glovebox was hard to read but i'm almost sure I could make out the word tilt.
Is this a truck or van tilt? anyone have pictures of a van tilt? If this is a truck tilt it's the first i've seen so I don't know. the white speck on the shaft is NOT a hole driled out. The shaft is dirty and I don't know what the white speck is. |

The white spec is the colapsable column shaft, If I'm not mistaken.

Re: can anyone Id this?
the nuetral saftey switch is broken are they hard to find. where can I buy one? It seemed to work great until I put it back on then It made a noise. I took it back off and the plastic housing cracked/broke...(Ooops)...If this is a truck tilt I would like to put some new parts in it. Is the lmc backup light page 121 #35 the same thing? well...... This is a little off topic....SO WHAT DO YOU THINK TRUCK OR VAN?

Re: can anyone Id this?
thanks guys!!!!!!! I was 100% certain when I got it until I started looking at the wires. it has a straight plug and then the half circle.
I was looking at the lmc catalog and see a signal switch for a 71-72 chevy truck that has a straight plug with adaptor. maybe the switch was replaced? or is this stock? Sorry this is my first and I have so many questions Last edited by xshadow; 09-17-2007 at 09:27 PM. |
