Did anyone experience this?

I am thinking it is due to my "helpers" greasy hands on the rotors or the banjo fitting that I had to "tweak" to fit the caliper on the Western Chassis spindles.

My brakes feel the same, but I was careful to keep my hands clean, and wipe everything down with a clean rag and brake cleaner. You might make sure nothing is contaminated, and that you didn't crack a brake line when you were bending them.

Unless the "helper" soaked the pads/rotors, most greasy finger prints will burn off after a few stops. Check for leaks and bleed the system well.

make sure the brakelines arent bound up anywhere along the spindle. you said you had to tweak the fittings? that sounds about right. my drivers side brake fitting was bent from the spindle install and it would pull SO hard to the right whenever i hit the brakes.
