Anyone Use Torque Plus Intake Gaskets ???
I know that the Torque Plus brand of intake gaskets have come up for discussion before on the board. I have read a few comments about how they people think they perform, and how they have heard that bad things have happened such as high vacuum sucking the screening material into the combustion chamber. Has anyone out there installed some of these. If so, how did you like them? Did they improve your mileage? If you pulled the manifold off after a few years what kind of condition were the screens in?
Thanks, Jeff

I have them on my rig,a nd liked the peformance gain...and convinced a couple others to do it.
A member recently removed his intake and found the screens were blown out. His rig is nothing too wild if memory serves... I do not recomend them anymore. |

Thanks for the info. I am so disappointed. Was looking forward to better gas mileage. They should probably make those screens out of something like Titanium so they can last longer than they do. Oh well, thanks again.
