350 Short Long WP ?

I picked up a block that I am rebuilding its a 70-72 350 my ? I ma taking my 64 327 out of truck , can I stay short wp or do I need al the goodies to go long? not sure of balacer thickness difference etc thanks Jack

If it is going in your 68 then I believe the short pump is the one. If you want to change then you will need to change your pulleys. I would stay with whatever you are running on the 327.

The balancers are the same ..

You would need the pulleys off a LWP the bracket for the power steering the alternator brackets and thats it Unless you have a/c

I really prefer the newer Long water pump brackets

If you do go SWP just make sure your not using a 12 o clock timing cover they wont work with that tab . Learned that one the hard way one night putting a motor together.
