Need a favor
Could anyone with a half ton that in disassembeled measure the diameter and length of the stock front springs. I talked with a guy today that has a 68 swb for sale, but it has no springs in it. I want to see if a set of Chevelle front springs will work. I remember a post about using stock Chevelle in the rear to lower a truck a few inches...

Chevelle springs will work and it will be lowered about 2 inches I think. some one on here the other day posted something about 1970 chevelle springs

Lowering springs themselves really aren't very expensive, but add in the correct lowered shock and the front end alignment and the price goes up. Of course if all you do is cut the springs, the cost of tires will kill ya'.

Tim Christian carries the lowering springs.If I remember right they run around $120.00 or so a pair.

The thing is,I can get the Chevelle springs free...And as stated the truck has no springs...
