A Dually Question
On the front end, is the rotor/hub assembly a multi piece deal with bolts holding it all together or is it one big old piece?
I've heard mention of hub extension/ adapter deal that is bolted to the rotor. Per She Ate It...

i know on later chevy K/30 4 wheel drives, it is 1 pc...sorry, guess that didnt help much. but it would make sense to me if they were all 1 pc

Again, not a whole lot of help, but the drum front drums (on a 70 and older) is one piece.

Both of my C30 C-C's had one-piece duallie rotors.

Thnaks for your responses fellows. I guess I'll need 2 spindles and 2 rotors to convert my 3/4 ton to 1 ton then.
As big as those rotors are, they are going to hurt for sure when I buy them.

My 72 C30's discbrake duallie spindles appear identical to 3/4 ton discbrake spindles, and the outside diameter are the same. In fact, my Hollander confirms that 71-77 3/4 ton and 1 ton (even van!) spindles are THE SAME. From your signature, I see you have a 70, which means drum brakes, so you would need disc spindles in any case.
I have a restored set of spindles and rotors left over from my carhauler upgrade, when I finally found some 12.5x1.5 (10,000 lb package) rotors/spindles/calipers to replace my original equipment 12.5x1.25 discs, but shipping would be a killer, as they're like 40-50 lbs each. |

There is a 3/4 with front disk in the back of Little John's Junkyard in Fort Worth off of Elliot Reeder Road if you were needing the stock spindles to convert a drum over. (I know you will probably want t a new rotor)

Probably not what your looking for but I know where there's an 88 3/4 ton dually with no motor or tranny. It has recent front brakes(pads and rotors) and recent front end. Was a running and driving truck until it was stolen and the 454 and tranny were taken about 3 months ago. No tailgate though. $1200

I actually bought Krazy Texan's old 71 3/4 ton parts truck, so I already have the disc brake spindles. I guess I'll just need rotors and calipers then.
Thank you, everyone, for the help on this. You saved me from buying a set of extra spindles unnecessarily.

Calipers are the same as 3/4 ton, too.
