I soooooooo got lucky............
Woooooooooo Hoooooooooo good things do happen every once in a while. Talked to a buddy of mine last night that i've been trying to get a hold of since january. When I visited him he had a 1969 GMC truck he was in the middle of a frame off restoration. He had the box off and the cab was still bolted down, but it had been sandblasted with new cabcorners and rockers and floor pan. It's a Factory AC cab sitting there in primer. Well last night i when I finally talked to him I asked him how much he wanted for it cause he said before he might be interested in selling it for the right price. The guy says ahhhhhhh hundred and a half. I about fell out the chair. The things basically ready to be painted and reassembled and it needs the new AC duct work. Heck he's even got the energy suspension system polyurethane body mount kit for it he's throwing in. 150 bucks for a reworked factory air cab and the mounts. Can't beat that with a 10 ft. pole

Congrats on a good deal. I hope I have finds like that in my future. I got to make some truck friends first then start our own little swap meets. " I'll trade you this for that..."

yea truck buddies are nice to have. When I was back last I helped him sand and paint a truck, fixed his wiring problem inside the truck and then helped him clean his garage. He's been a friend of mine since high school so if I was in the position to help him out I would anyday. Oh yea can't forget I gave him a tailgate while i was home too for nothing. Oh yea and believe me if I had luck to spread i sure would. I figure when I win me the powerball I'll just go walking down the street handing out money cause i could never spend all that money in a lifetime
