blazer rear window crank pin
I posted this in the Blazer forum but didn't get a reply, guess I'll try it here.
The PO installed a new rear window crank but the pin fell out and he lost it. Looks like I can cut down a nail to fit in there for the time being. Does anyone know of a better fix or if this will work?

 I see brand new NOS ones on E-bay from time to time, they usually go for $50 or so. I would think the nail trick would work, but it is kind of ghetto. The manual rear windows can be tricky period, took me a few minutes to figure out how they work. (rolling up and down and locking it)

lol, must have just missed your reply. I'll probably go ghetto for the time being. I've seen them on ebay with a buy it now of about $27. I may do that when I sell the Sebring and have the cash to start fixing it up.

What kind of pin is it? If it's a roll pin (split pin) they can be bought from most hardware stores. If that don't work try duct tape. It will fix anything that wiggles and ain't supposed to...

It's not a roll/cotter pin. From the guy's description it's just a straight piece of round metal about 2 1/2 inches long. Looks like it passes through the part of the handle that has the lock on it, then is placed in the pivot point of the part on the tailgate. It's then held in place with 2 screws. It's not really visible once installed, which is why I thought a nail might work.
