Look in a later model full sized blazer...I think they started in 77 or so. This will replace your seatbeld holder.
I keep my drink on the dash, you'd be amazed at how good it does...onless you launch from the stop light, I did this once (OK...more than once) and ended up smellin like Dew. |

Yeah, I think nailing it into 2nd could count as launching.

Does it clear the shifter? I've got a 4-speed muncie 465 and the stick is tall.

Console cup holders
Any blazer 73 and up will have the cup holding console. But you have to have a truck with bucket seats. If you have an automatic truck, lots of small floor or seat consoles available with cup holders.

I mounted one from an 88 - 95 Chev under the dash. Works great, clears my 5 speed. Do a search, you should find pics.

Mine has nothing to do with the console (if you're talking to me).

Here is a pic of the cupholder console. The cupholder part comes out, but the seatbelt type holder console that was used in the earlier trucks/blazer doesn't have that part as removable. Hope that makes some sense.

I have an aftermarket console that had the seatbelt holders. What I did was remove that part and make an aluminum plate, I think it was 16ga. and use the universal cupholders. I had about a 1/4" lip which I used silicon adhesive to attach the plate with. Anyhow it was a cheap way to get cupholders. John

Huck, the 73 blazers still used the exact same console as the 69 - 72 did, it wasn't untill later that they went to the cup holders.
