Which oil pan?

Who offers the best aftermarket oil pan for these trucks? Maybe one that is low-profile too.

Any thoughts on this one?

If your oil pan has been taking some abuse, fight back with an additional 3/16'' steel armor plate on the bottom of this innovative oil pan. Save your engine while protecting it from perforation or abrasion damage. Chrome finish.

I would use a Milodon. I've seen one that's low profile, and looks killer.
Low Profile Oil Pan
Kinda Pricey...but it's only 8¼" Deep.

Oops. I just now seen you have a 87. This number doesn't fit one piece rear seal engines. I'll see if I can find the right number.

Here you go. The link says it's a 6 quart pan, but my Moroso catalog says it's a 7 quart pan, just like my 20200.

make sure you get your pick up set at the right height for the pan you get. if you go to a shallower pan your stock pick up won't work

Thanks for the link(s), Mike. I think I'll go for the Moroso oil pan---Good price and I'm sure the quality is top notch.

I'd second the motion on a Moroso pan. Their quality is great; I've seen two Milodon pans crack on drag race engines (one on a 351C Ford, the other on a blown alcohol Big Block Chevrolet), so I'm not very impressed with them at this time.

If you're going to swap pans, and if this engine is "built" at all, also consider a crank scraper and a windage tray. And if the engine is REALLY built and you'll be abusing the truck (drag, solo, etc. racing), a pan with trap doors is a worthwhile investment.
