Tranny poll

What kind of transmission are you running? I notice that there is little mention of the powerglides and that got me wondering.

Both have T-350's. In the future, the step will have a 454/T-400 or 700r4, depends on what route I go.

I have a powerglide in my '66 Chevelle. It will be replaced with a 700r4 this summer though, when the new engine goes in.

Both my rigs were factory TH400 trucks, but they both have TH350s now.
The Longhorn may get a 200 4R one day, but not in the near future though.

I completely rebuilt, installed shift improver kit and painted the TH350 for my truck. We'll see how well she does behind the 383 I'm building.

Definately worth it--pricey at the time but with the diesel it is nice to bring the rpm down when cruising.
