Got it out of the garage today

Well I finally got it to the point of getting it out of the garage and take it for a little spin and even got it inspected to boot. I still am having some little issues like one of the head gaskets is seeping a minute oil in the rear on the passanger side, Rack & pinion leaks and is jerky and sometimes it stiffens right up but wow talk about instant turning compared to the stock setup, I have a small trans line leak and fine tune the fuel injection setup. I just got off the phone with the people who I got the frontend components from to also make me a new set of upper and lower control arms to raise the front end up an inch because htis wasn't were it was originally supposed to set. Here is a picture with the new Cowl Hood that I won't be able get painted for a while because my body shop guy is a little busy at the moment and I don't do body work. Work done this winter, New Engine (414SBC), new IFS frontend w/ rack & Pinion and Disk Brakes, 4link rear suspension w/CoilOvers, 4.10 gears, all new wiring, switched over from 6lug to 5lug and Power Disk brakes (that took some getting used to, I bet I came close to kissing the windsheild 3 times, Javy's Dash & Glove Box with all new AutoMeter Guages from a Dakaota Digital Dash setup and New Holley StealthRam Fuel Injection, What do you think?

Thanks for the compliments guys, I just got back from the alignment shop after replacing upper and lower control arms to raise the frontend up a couple of inches that it should have been to begin with and also to have the rear diff aligned from the 4 link suspension. I had to put a set of stock wheels on the rear with some snow tires for the alignment machine. This truck has to have wide tires, almost everytime i would get into it the truck would go sideways.

MikeOJ: I dont remember where I got those seat belts from but was easy install, I think GMC Pauls has a complete setup including middle seat belt for resonable money.

67Chev, I'm not sure or remember the exact price on the dash setup inpart because it was part of the deal with the Glove box, If you went to his sight there is a phone number to call and just speak to Javy, Pretty descent guy and I am quite happy with the dash. He can give you what ever his current prices are. Oh and mention to him you saw a pick of my truck and the info was there to call him. Dash does not come with guages..

Thank Guys, The Encouragement is nice, A lot of heart ache went into this. By the looks of my rugs in one of the shoots I better find my Rubber mats and put them back in. It hell living in the contry. A half hour after washing the bikes and getting all the grinding and sitting dust off the truck it was covered with pollen.

Yuck...that interior looks horrible. You really need to get rid of that nasty gauge cluster and that tilt column.

Btw way if you PM me I can give you the address for the garbage can you can throw them away in.

very nice job. I have never really been in to the rake but that truck totally pulls it off in style.

The Dash and Glove Box Are from JJengineering in Ca, He has some post here and uses the name - Javy - The guages do not come with it, they are all AutoMeter guages. They are made out of Billet Aluminum.

Warbones: The seat cover and door Panels I beleive I got them from LMC, it was about 6-7 years ago when I first got the truck.
