Was this a legite accessory option?
Mirror map light: Factory option, dealer add on or bogus?

Nope, it was not an option.
I have not seen it listed anywhere as an accessory. It was found on many other GM cars though, and lots of cars had the same size/shape mirror too. |

There was an option U29 courtesy lamp...never seen one...anyone know what that was?

Tom, I believe the courtesy lamp, was the ones that went under the dash, more common on the blazers.
