air bags w/ 2" lifted leaf??

I want to put in air bags (either firestone or air lift I guess). I have an '89 suburban 2wd that I'm putting on 2" lifted springs and want to add air bags. I called Air Lift and they're not sure if the bags will fit as is of if I need a spacer from www.ezrideconcepts.com. Has anybody used bags with lifted springs??

Not sure if this helps but if all you want is a 2" lift why not just use the airbag with your stock springs. I can raise or lower the rear of my 1 ton about 4". At about 30lbs of air it sits up 2". I don't really see any difference in ride either

IF you want ride and going over axle, use sleeved bags, they're a softer/better ride over the axle then 2600's or 2b7's, but nothing wrong with those 2 back there either.
