4" FRONT DROP SPRINGS
Got a pair of 4" front drop springs with some other suspension stuff from another board member. What kind of problems is there running these short springs. I already have my 2 1/2 drop spindles and was on going with 2" inch drop springs. Just dont know if I can live with a 6 1/2 front drop all the time. My blazer would probably look pretty good with a 6/6 drop. Just dont know about front suspension geometry problems. Anybody running this kind of drop on a daily driver.? Post some pics if possible.

I think you might have a ground clearance issue with your lower control arms. It would be drivable but slow way down on the dips or you will drag the arms. I bet it would look trick though!

This is my experience... Anything more than 2"-2.5" of drop from a spring and the ride starts suffering.

here is your 6 1/2" static drop, running clipped 4" drop coils, and 2 1/2" spindles. Rides like its on the bumpstops, and scrapes over any bump in the road. BUT IT LOOKS COOL!

Thanks for the info guys, Made my decision much easier. Especially the pics. I have to drive this every day 60 miles on Dallas/Ft Worth freeways and I think it would be a nightmare. Would be awesome for a show truck or a saturday nighter but not my daily driver. I'll post over on the parts board to see if anybody is interested in a trade.
