Tow hook question

Do the 69-72 tow hooks mount with the curved points pointing inward or outward? Thanks.

I don't see how that affects whether the strap stays on or not... but it affects originality. If you're pulling crossways you can use the opposite hook. But they probobly had the opening on the inside for that reason.

If you are talking about the left and right curve of the hooks....they curve outward, away from the frame. That is how they are on my K10 Suburban.
