Rear end questions
How wide is the rear end in my truck? Its an 84 C10, 2wd.
Edit: while i'm at it, is there any reason to replace a factory swaybar with an aftermarket one? Last edited by SixthFloorFreak; 06-23-2004 at 12:40 AM. |

Flange to flange I believe is 62.5"
I wouldn't swap out to an aftermarket swaybar if you already have one.

another question: Did Ford make any 9" rear ends with rear discs, that would work under this truck?

A 77-80 Lincoln Versailles, but good luck finding one cheap, or at all. All the salvage yards here know about them and yank them.

a 1985 ford truck has the right lenght but no disk brakes, shouldn't be hard to convert it though.
