I really like the Parnelli Jones tires as well. I have been very satisfied with them.

I believe they are fake because bead locks aren't DOT legal.

I'm about to install a 6" lift in my 72 4x4. I bought a set of Eagle Alloys 058 (http://www.aewheel.com/wheels_detail.cfm?id=23) off eBay for $350 shipped. I'm going with 35x12.5 Pro Comp Mud Terrains because they are on sale right now (buy 3 get one free). I'll get pics when everything is on (hopefully by the 4th).

Daughter has a 4 and a 3 on hers and she has lots of room for 35's. I always wanted to take the body lift off.

BTW those are 35x15.50's on 15x10's Centerlines.

I've read you can mount a 35x12.5 on an 8" rim but it cause the tire to 'bow' so to speak in the middle and you will wear the tire out in the middle faster (because it isn't flat). A 10" rim will work fine for a 12.5".

12" rims will be a problem with the 4" front lift. I doubt you'll be able to go any wider than 10" rims, 8's would be safe.

I have always liked the looks of the M/T Classics and Weld Stone Crushers. Eagle makes a Stone Crusher knock off at about half the price.

As far as tread, do you want streetable, mud, or aggressive. Are they just for looks or for performance? I like the look of the Swamper SSR and TrXus STS.

I've always liked the setup that IGOR (board member on CK5.com) has on his Blazer. I think his rims are 17" and his tires are 35's. I think he has 8" of lift though. The pic is his rig.

X-terrain? I have neighbor running them on his 79 f150. Look good and seem to have good road manners. I like the road manners of my 35" bfgs ATs. The bias ply 33" swampers I had were in a nut shell, horrible. But ya gotta like the look. The 35" bias ply ground hawgs on my 71 seem good. No flat spots and balanced fairly nice.

i have 4 inches of lift front and rear, with 35"x12.5 r15 on i think 15x10 rims, not sure on the 10 inch wide rim, maybee 12"

I've been running their 'terra grappler' on my 02 chevy 4x4 and just put them on the tahoe too. Great tire.

BETTER, BUT IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN 18" RIM SIZE AND THE SELECTION OF 18"
RIMS OUT THERE IN THE MARKET RIGHT NOW KINDA SUCKS IMO. :p

I have a set of the MT classics with 36in 14.50 tires if your not far from me I live in johnson city TN you can come check them out the rims are 16.5 X9.75 Im changing to a 1ton running gear so I will be selling them soon.

can you run 35's on an 8 inch rim safely on the highway?
someone just gave me a set on 16x8's off a new 2500HD and i want to put 315/75 r16 (35's) on them. i'm converting to eight lug and didnt want to buy new wheels
