Question Anyone with Softtop and Snaps??????

I'm installing my bikini top and need to know how many snaps are used on the windshield frame, all the way across including the side snaps? Also, can anyone tell me the spacing of the snaps, center of one snap to center of next?

I looked at the install procedure on the STC site for the soft top with snaps but they don't come out and say how many snaps are actually on the front of the soft top. I would like to replicate, as closley as possible, the setup for a soft top incase I ever want to go that route. I'm having nightmares about drilling holes, so I would like to keep it to a minimum.

Thanks in advance and hope everyone has a great 4th of July weekend

Oh yeah, it would help to know what softtop you are using, manufacturer. Not sure if STC is the only one left making them or not.

My understanding is that spacing is different on every one. I have an old Kayline on my '69 and it has 18 snaps accross the top. The first three on each side are approx 2" appart. After that, they go to approx 5". I don't know if STC changed the number of snaps or the spacing when they bought the Kayline patterns. You might check with STC and explain that you are going to be buying one of their tops but right now you are trying to match the snaps in you Bikini top. My understanding is their customer service is decent.
