I got my wheels!!!!!!!!!!
Just got them today! Don't have tires yet, but just had to mount one..... um.... to check for caliper clearance..... uh .... yeah... that's it... The fronts are 18x8 and the rears are 18x9.5 Now I'm really pumped to get this truck on the road! (I need to get those rotors cleaned up too ...yikes!!)

Thanks! My thoughts exactly! Almost brought a tear to my eyes when I opened the boxes! They are Billet Specialties, GTX01 style, polished aluminum, not chrome.

Oh man! You really got took on those wheels, they will not work on your truck. Just put them back in the boxes and send them to my house, and I will properly dispose of them for you at no charge. It's the least I can do for ya, I don't wanna see ya get hurt any more than you have been already. It'll be alright, I promise, really, promise!

Barn9, send me your address and I'll ship them to you ASAP! Thanks for your concern! Oh, by the way, if when you get them, they look like plain old steel wheels with worn tires, it's just an illusion
Tom, thanks again for helping me decide on wheel sizes/backspcing! Hopefully, I can get some tires mounted on them in the next week or so. I'll definately post some more pictures then. ------------------ Current project: The "HACKstoration" 1967 GMC shortbed/fleetside, 350/700R4, air bag suspension, 18" billet wheels. Those are sweet looking. The would look great with street tires or mudders. Some rims just don't work with some types of tires, but I really do like the looks of those.

Here's the wheel I want. In 18's. Unfortunatly it will be the last thing I buy for my truck.
It would be hard for me to spend 2100.00 on rims alone before my truck is done. |
