WTB: 6 cyl power steeering
I'm looking for a six cylinder power steering bracket,pump,hoses or any part of the list. Let me know if you have anything. Thanks

You better let everyone know if you are looking for a 250-6 or 292-6 set up. They are not the same.

PICKMUP...thanks for the link. Isn't there supposed to be a small adjustable bracket that bolts to the alternator and then the pump to hold the pump in position?
Anybody got a picture of this setup. There seems to be a few variations. I just want to make sure I've got everything before I do this conversion. No use getting half way into it and then find out you're missiing something. Thanks Oh yea....I've got the big whopping 250 six.

No small bracket on this type. This is a stronger, later style. Notice the alt adjusting slot is built in to the main bracket, instead of the weak little strap/bracket.
I get more $$$ for the 100% correct 67-72 models, but these are better, if you don't have to have exact original (round pump). They are checked on a 70 Chev PU for pulley alignment and engine bolt holes...as explained in other post. |
