New Member
Just wanted to log in and say hello..I'm a new member in central Florida.
Kinda interesting how I got the Blazer... I had seen it around town for years, going further and further downhill. A year ago a buddy of mine says he's seen it parked ( it hadn't been around for months) We go up and ask if its for sale they say yeah but it needs a throw out bearing.....They only want 4 Grand! We were both thinkin they had lost thier minds as we both figured about $400. We contain ourselves and leave. We share the story with our circle of friends and every body had about the same figure in mind, time goes by and another friend is given the truck, who in turn gives it to me. I'll post some photos when I can but its rough...primer grey '72 2wd thats been owned by bikers for the past 22 years! Its only taken 2 days to do the inital cleaning out and removal of the plywwod hatch(complete with chevy emblem shaped window) and the home made beer cooler from between the seats. Mike |
