I have the same one, It does a good job I think, as long as you are not doing heavy work.

i bought that welder at home depot last summer, then was strapped for cash and sold it to a fellow board memeber, wish i kept it though! those are good little welders for rocker panels and cab corners etc, but i strongly recommend getting a bottle of sheilding gas down the road, with the regulator etc...id say if you got some cash sitting around jump on it, for that price you cant go wrong, and lincoln welders are up there with the best

It's a good unit, but for the 350 price it's up to, I'd put a little more money and get a Hobart 135.

Thanks for the responses guys. i will be using it to do florpans and rockers on the wifes MG. I pu a thread in the General discussion forum asking what welder to buy. I was browsing ebay and saw this, then found out he lives near me, so shipping isn't an issue. I think I'll go for it.

Yeah I read his feedback too. I livw here in Houston so picking it up won't be an issue, and I will pay in person, so if it's not right, I don't get screwed. Thank you for the concern and looking out for me.

The price wasn't outstanding but wasn't bad. I have used that welder as weel and my big complaint is the duty cycle. Your going to have to take it easy. If you start doing a lot of welding at the higher settings your going to pop breakers.

I don't like 110v unit because despite what people think your really not supose to just plug them into a 110v outlet unless its a dedicatted 20 am circuit. I barrowed that and my Garage outle backs up to the kitchen and shares a circuit. If I was welding the kitchen was off limits so I wouldn't pop breakers ever 2-3 minutes.

Personnaly I prefer 220v Even the cheapest 220v has a longer duty cycle then most hobiests are going to need unless you start woulding on so heavy gage stuff. I have the Hobart 175 and super happy with it. Never hit the top of the duty cycle even building a 5x10 ft trailer out of 2/3 box and 2x2 3/16 angle iron. My complete set up with a cart was $600 not including the tank.
