Minnesota Board Meet Part II

Okay, the first board meet didn't work out. As soon as the pretty weather hit, we all went our own direction. Still, I'm a persistent S.O.B. and, as such, I'm gonna make one last stab at getting us together for a day.

Let's "get 'er done!" and pick a date that we can (mostly) agree on. I'm gonna leave it up to you folks to tell me when. As before, I'm willing to donate my place. I've got a grill and I'll promise to have 10 gallons of fresh homebrew on tap for the occasion.

A saturday would be good, as long as it is before huntin' season. Maybe the middle of sept? Lets get some more opinions flowing here!

Okay, gang... what about September 4th? It's a Saturday and it's before hunting season. The other option is in October which would match up with the swap meet. Keep 'em coming and let's get 'er done!

I am in. Saturday or Sunday work. Pick a weekend and I will put it on the calendar.
If there are 10 gallons of homebrew I would request a Saturday so I can sleep it off in my truck before heading home
Todd - you do have to drive your truck, its only a 4 hour drive for you, suck it up
Shawn

Be sure to vote in the poll to pick a date!

I'm not saying we couldn't have a burnout contest, Todd... but it might be reaaaal short since I don't the the St. Louis Park police would be all that hip on it.

Okay guys, I've posted a poll so that we can vote on a date. Please go there and vote so we can pick the date that works best for as many folks as possible. Let's make it happen, cap'n!

Well, according to the poll, it looks like October 2nd is our winner. Of course, anybody that hasn't voted that wants to put their $0.02 in had better do so before it's too late!

In other news, looks like Bumpster just picked up a low-mileage '70 GMC long fleet with a 350 auto, PS, aftermarket A/C and other goodies (including original hubcaps) for a good price. He's picking it up tonight (I think) and we'll try to get pictures posted ASAP.

Now all I've gotta do is figure out some scheme to make it mine.

I am in Brainerd right now ,if anyone want a cheap truck, there is a 69 or 70 GMC sitting at the side of the highway for $350, it was hit on the drivers side door but the rest looks fairly decent for the price.

meet

That truck in Brainerd for 350 dollars is a Longhorn, rusted out, no motor or tranny, not much left, should be hauled to the scrap yard. Oct 2nd sounds good to me. Don in Brainerd
