You might try looking for 3/4 t big block Suburbans in the junk yard. Thats where I found mine. A guy near me was parting one earlier this summer that had the large sway bar, but he had it towed off a few weeks back.

Well I know from Tx Firefighter that I can use the swaybars between 67 and 87 so that should help me out a little. (In fact maybe I should post this on the 73-87 parts section)

Mine came off a 3/4 ton truck. It's the one that I did the Swaybar FAQ thread with.

I can see that those two are a little different in the way the bars end. How does that affect installation.

The black one is aftermarket, but was made for our trucks. Installation was a breeze.

Currently, I have three 1 1/4" bars. I got all of them off 73-87 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. I was not planning on selling one but after buying back to school supplies for my four kids, I could use all the extra funds I can get. I would be willing to sell one for $45 (bar only). Shipping to Ft Worth would be under $20. I also have a set of Energy Suspension sway bar bushings (black with caps) that I would include for an extra $25. Let me know if you are interested.

Nice of everybody to let the person who originally made the post say if he wanted it or not before trying to get it for themselves.
JJR, I appreciate the offer. PM sent. Todd |

Looks like one of the bars and the bushings are going to toddtheodd. If the sale falls through I will re-post. I am willing to sale one more sway bar (bar only) for $45. I need to keep one for my brother-in-laws truck. I currently have a interest in the bar and was asked by another to post a pic. This is a pick of a bar I sold on E-Bay last year. I don't have a good set of mounting brackets anymore. The bars I am selling will be cleaned and painted black with rustoleum spray paint.
