1ton Hydroboost to vacume??
Can I convert my Hydroboost to Vacume on my 1984 1 ton?
what all is needed. It was originally a 6.2 diesel till it seized. I installed a 454 in it and have the 454 powersteering pump already. I think the gear box is the same but not sure. Can anyone help? |

If I can find one I will just go with that. Anyone know if the Hydroboostpump will fit on the regular powersteering pump brakets? |

Ok so I can get high pressure side "t'ed" then? My diesel actually had one output and two in. Or is it 1 in and two out?
Either way it has three connections in the rear of the pump... Disregaurd I see what your mean now.. T the returns.. Cool I will just do that then.. Thanks.. |

No, high pressure is not t-ed, it's seris to HB and then P.St. The single return is not a problem, you can T the low pressure of the HB and P.St. together.Oh, just read your addition..you got it.

Most (I hesitate to say all...) 1 tons used hydroboost even if they were gas engines. My 83 crew cab does and it's an original 454 truck...

What is so "cool" about those? Is it so you can sling passengers out the windshield at will? lol
