I've never seen a grille guard like that before, is that aftermarket or a dealer option?

Hmmmmm... I might just check my finances.
If the 454 isn't destroyed it'd be worth it just for that.

That's much less than I figured it would end at, especially with that "smash king" grille guard

Talking

I would have to say it`s a big block by the power steering canister. Just my 2 cents.

its funny i found this thread on here. I am the one that bought this truck. the guy that owned didnt seem to know much about it. he said it had the 454 but the option page in the glove box says 400. i havent checked the numbers on the block yet, but i believe it is the 402 bb in it. pretty nice truck though, I should have it on the road as a driver pretty soon. will be painting it later on.

I would have gave 910 for that radio case as long as it came with a free truck

sorry I dont have any of my own pics yet of the truck. been trying to just get it fully on the road. had to rebuild the carb and now i am working on getting the brakes in order. it is a strong running truck though, drives nice too, just doesnt stop very well yet, and it is the 402 and not the 454 that the guy stated but thats fine, its still a big block. also i am trying to decide how I want to paint it. I think I want to go with the original black and white paint sceme thats on it, but cant decide whether I want the trim on it or not, as some of the trim is kinda banged up, and some of it is missing.

I think i am going to try and find another way to put a radio in it,as i dont want to cut the dash, and that radio custom radio mount kinda needs to go,as well as the cheapy speakers that are mounted on either side of it.
