Auto tilt column
How much are you looking to get for your tilt column? What kind of shape is it in? Is it a real truck tilt? Also, if you have any pics, I would be interested in seeing them. If it is all good, then i'll take it.

I can take pictures for you and send them to you if you give me your email addy. Its the original equipment for this truck - as noted on the glovebox sticker. Good shape, could stand paint but doesn't look bad by any means (just a few chips here and there). I guess make an offer, I'd like to get at least $80 for it if I can.

I would be interested in the tilt if LongwoodC10 doesn't buy it.

Keep in mind I don't want to separate this if I can help it, I'll have pics later this afternoon. I've gotten a couple PM's encouraging me to raise the price on the tilt alone because apparently its worth a lot more than $80 - I've never had a desire to get an original tilt because I've always had one in my truck.

Do you have the tranny linkages and the linkage bracket that is on the frame by the tranny?
I may be interested in the whole batch if you do. Shawn

Um, tilt steering, or something?
I sent a PM on the tilt, but didn't hear back. I am still interested in the tilt, and I understand that you don't have a good feeling about your initial quoted price. So, tell me what you want for it and I will see if I can swing it. As far as all of your other stuff goes, I really can't use it at all, and I don't want to buy all of the stuff just to get a tilt. Know what I mean? Oh, yeah, pics of the tilt would also rule.

71swb4x4 - I was not planning on going (school and all) but can get someone to go for me to meet you there if someone there would be interested in purchasing it.
Attached is a picture for everyone. I tried to take a picture of the options sticker but it came out blurry and you can't make out the words - the options sticker does list "comfortilt" as an option so this is factory - not an aftermarket or van tilt from a later year. LongwoodC10 - I sympathize with your situation, but will sell it as a complete set before I sell it as components. You will be considered first (as you made the first reply) if I cannot find a buyer for the whole setup. At that point I will contact you and we can negotiate a price on the tilt column alone. |

oh and the grant wheel is already in my '83 blazer, but I can include a wheel in descent shape from the '67 C30 sitting next to the '72.

Hey, not trying to steal the thread but tried sending a pm and your box is full.
I received the pics of the ps setup, thanks. I have to look at a car over the weekend. If I end up getting it I'll be short on cash, but if it doesn't work out I'll probably take the setup. I'll let you know either way. Thanks again. Oh yea, r u selling the guage cluster in your recent pic of the tilt column? What parts on the C30 r u selling (may look at a 69 C30 also). Scott |
