and he drives it everyday

I don't think I've ever seen a daily driver this banged up, the pics don't do it justice, this old guy has been through a war. A little hard to start sometimes but this is his daily driver, good ole chevy!

I bet he doesn't have to worry about other people yielding anymore. If I saw that I'd get over because I would figure that he doesn't care if he hits me or not.

Racedvl needs to post that pic he took of the 69 swb that was near me. It was bent in the middle, the front top part of the bed touched the back of the cab. Rusty as all get out....with a V8 4 speed, and a factory tach dash. The guy retired it about a year and a half ago, but still has it and won't come off of it...the only part I'd want is the dash, so I'd have to get it for next to nothing.....

I had a boss once that had a daily driver work truck beat at least that bad.It was the same color, too. With red another yellow ,some blue and a primered hood(painted so it wouldn't rust after the great carb fire of '92).It had also had a service bed installed at some time by an other than professional. We took the ladder rack off of it when the front leg rusted thru and it looked like the rack might come thru the windshield. The best feature of thet truck was the auto oil fill option(a very rare owner added semi-pro device). It had a hose run from the oil filler cap theru the firewall and into the cab to a funnel. When the oil pressure dropped, the passengers responsibility was to pour a couple quarts in.We drove that truck on vacation from Amarillo Tx. to Corpus Christy Tx.(around 800) miles each way.22 quarts of oil.He finally had to retire the truck though. The steering got so loose that it turned left into a tree about 3:00 am one sat am.I think it just got tired and decided to commit suicide. He had put 400,000 miles on it in 11 years and guessed it had probably 2-300,000 when he got it.

there is an old man that has one worse than that around here, i think it is a 68 gmc but man the frame is bent in the middle and the body makes that look like it is in mint condition, this old man hauls crap up to the metal recycler with it all the time and only once have i seen him on the side of the road and it was this july, his truck overheated it looked like to me
