You hit on the problem...don't know what the reserve is. 30 bids and it is still there. Sounds like he wants about $3,000 or more (NADA comments).

IN CASE YOU NOTICED THE FENDER EMBLEM, IT SAYS 400, THIS IS NOT A TRANSPLANTED 396, THEY DID NOT HAVE 396 EMBLEMS FOR THIS TRUCK IN 71, THIS IS A FACTORY INSTALLED 396
huuuh?!

I would have to guess it is a 402 not a 396. They used 400 emblems for the 402 big block trucks. I am not trying to be a wise a**. The only way to tell for sure would be the engine #'s that he did not list and would not surprise me if he is just a seller that does not really know himself.

Arizona Truck Alert (if he didn't add the emblems)!!Midway Chevy is still in business. Mine was delivered to Madison Chevy in Scottsdale, no longer in business.... Can you say(almost) RUST FREE? ...long as it hadn't been in any of those M states. You know: Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Maryland, Mass... Mississippi? &^) H.

they can be pretty rust free as I live in Maine and I have bought 3 such trucks since March. So it does not matter where they are, but how they are taking care of. My dollars worth, inflation ya know! Mike

I guess I should have stated: "Generally speaking..." My truck's been in AZ its whole life and it still has some rust in the rockers and floorboard. I lived in Maine for a summer (one a them summa' people) and never saw so much rust in my life! But you're right, if it never got driven in the winter and was kept in a garage it could be un-rusty. H.

My blazer started life as a Montana truck........apparently they dont use road salt like on the east, mines rust free. I couldnt believe it at first when i thought of how much snow they get.. I think i'm the 3-4 owner, the guy inbetween me and the original owner said he was an old guy living in montana who always had it.
