leaf removal
On a four leaf pack, which one would I remove to lower the rear a bit? Also, does it drop the truck the same height as the leaf that was removed?

The safest thing to do is remove the shortest one in the stack. If you go removing leaves out of the middle there is not enough support on the ends of the longer ones.
It will lower your truck by the thickness of the leaf itself AND by the amount of arch it is contributing to the entire pack. If you remove the "overload leaf" (the big flat one on the bottom) it will only drop by that thickness as it doesn't do anything for the arch. The more leaves you remove causes greater problems with axle wrap/tire hop. If you drive fairly conservatively.......you may not notice it too much. If you are hard on it you will need some kind of traction device. |
