Trucks With 12" Wheels
Anybody have any pics with a 12" wheel on the rear and what size tire. I'm minitubbing mine.I don't know if I should go with a pro street type tire or a radial type. I seen Jegs sells a 345/55/15 that fits a 12" wheel but I don't what they will look like on a truck. I've also seen a 315/60/15 but it suggests a 10" wheel. My truck is dropped 4" in the rear. Any suggestions and pics?

BTW, this truck will mostly be a cruiser and will occasionally take a trip down the strip.

I know if you go with a MT sportman pro you probably want the 29x15/50. It would look pretty tough but I know a few people who are kinda likin' the BFG drag radial since they ride nicer. If you go that way it's probaly something like a 325 or there 345.
Either way it's going to look awesome so don't forget to show some pics when your done. Did you have to inboard anything to minitub it or did you just widen the wheel wells 3". Good luck Later |

I'm just widening the wheelwell 3". I haven't done it yet. I've got to run the brake line from back to front and my frame will be ready for its cab and bed. I'm going to buy my wheels/tires first and that way in case there is any more type of modification to do I can do it before the bed's painted.
