I have a dilemma
Ok, So I got my tax return back, 822 dollars worth, not a ton, but the biggest return I ever had since I am only 22 and my parents used to claim me every year until now, anyhow, the problem is, do I put the money towards disk brake conversion and lowering springs or do I put towards my 1600 dollar cc debt??? Any suggestions??

The fact that you're asking shows you probably know the right answer. Whittling away that CC debt will get you further "down the road" towards being able to spend all your extra money on yur '67. It's not as fun right now, but you'll be glad you did. Take it from a 26 year-old who was there.

Pay off the card you will not regret it. The brakes and stuff will still be there later. Use CASH, It took me awhile but I'm 47 and debit FREE, with exception of my house

Well, i dont have a clue what a CC debt is, but i would definetly pay it off first. Then, if you run into some trouble later (loosing your job, unexpected expenses, who knows) you wont have a bill to pay off. Then, you can sink more money into your '67 .

Without a doubt pay the card! My Grandfather always told me there are two things you need in life. A good name, and good credit! You will feel better and in time you will not only have your truck done, you will be debt free.
Just don't pay on the card and turn around and charge your parts back on it! Pay it off and cut it up. Get yourself and American Express that forces you to pay it off every month. Or just a debit card. Good luck and you are very mature to stop and ask for advice. ------------------ 2001 GMC 2500HD Crew Cab Duramax, Allison, 4WD, Love it 1971 Chevrolet 1/2 ton 2WD Short/Step Side. Buy something small for the truck, some Bezels or a new chrome part for the engine, something around $100 and put the rest to the card, that's what I would do.

Just from the interest on you are paying monthly on credit card debt (20%+) you could be buying truck parts...pay off the credit card first!
The swap meets are great for parts...still kicking myself for passing up two rust free doors for $25 each! Take your time on your truck and enjoy the journey not just the finish line!

pay the card off......it took me two consolidation loans before i learned my lesson. It's hard to believe how much money you actually have with out those bills. you'll save money in the long run if you pay it off.

Pay most on the card but use a littlwe and start a saving account for the truck.Just don't spend the savings on the truck until you have paid the card completely off. This way you can work at 2 goals at once. You will also realize that your savings will grow faster if you put the same in it as you pay toward the card. One trip of saving to reach a goal like these and you will see that you don't have to wait as long to save it as you do to pay it off.

Put $600 towards the card and still do a DB conversion front clips in yards around here i get for as little as $50,then go buy all new brake parts, put it all on your truck.run 5 lug in the front and 6 in the rear, thatd outta be different-then just make sure you have a spare fo both.Try to run the same kind of rims,or hubcaps to hide that.Come down to AZ and ill sell you a 5 lug DB Front suspension(crossmember and all)still all attached, not mis matched pieces, and a 5 lug coil rearend for $100,but if your truck gets under 10 mpg like mine, probably cost you more in long run.Pay the credit card, its very important to have good credit, buying a car, getting a lone,a house.wouldnt ya like to know in your head your already approved instead of wondering if those old CC things will show up and get you denied. That would plain suck
