Im thinkin of puttin the seats out out of my cousins 1990 celica in my truck and building a console. I havent had a chance to see how they mount yet but i was wondering who has put in buckets from an import or buckets at all. any info appreciated (amount of work, process, etc) Thanks

I have 1993 Honda Civic seats I'm going to put in my 1968. We've placed them in there, but we havent bolted them in. I'm not sure about the mounting but there shouldn't be much work involved and we're building a center counsle also

now i know what my seats came out of i got mine out of a pile of seats a a local junk yard i didnt have a clue on what they came out of till now i had to fab up L brackets for the front and drill one hole per seat in the floor(the inside ones) and the back i had to drill one hole per seat too (still the inside ones)and make spacers about 2 inch high to get the seats to set better i think i had to drill the rear seat sliders too ( cant remeber been a while since i did that) had to drill those to keep the out side factory hole in the floor? does the seats you have got the air pumps for the lumbar and legs in them ?

Those seats look great but I would personally check to see if the "feel" wide enough. I like seats that don't wrap around so much. I just bought an S-10 Blazer and those seats are too damn small/stiff for me.

I am running a set of Honda Accord buckets in my 72'...to mount them I ground the mounts flat on both sides of the seat. Next I welded a 3"x3" square of 2"x1" Box tubing at each corner and drilled a hole through the center and bolted to the floor (somewhat like "feet" for the seat mounts). So far this has held up great, no problems and a simple install.

Here's what they would look like... LOL I think this style of seats is in 20 different cars. Like tnblazerk5 I got mine out of a yard and they were already out of the car. Mine fit great with my console that I still haven't finished between them. My console is about 12"-14" wide.
