Anyone make replacement roofskins?
Just curious, does any company have replacement roofskins for 67-72 trucks? I have virtually rust free cab from a 1 ton grain truck(always shedded), but it has the cab marker lights, and my bodyman told me it would just as easy to change the skin instead of smoothing off the lights.

Find another bodyman, its not hard to weld up holes. Much easier than fixing rust. Brian

My bad-forgot 67-72 had those little "pads" they sit on. Too bad you're so far away, I have a 72 I'm scrapping, has nice roof-but that's about it. Brian

I agree with your bodyman it would be as easy just to replace the top. either way it going to be a lot of work but you could drill out the spot welds in the seams for a nicer job and less filler. just find a cab with a good top and cut it out. not sure if the make a replacement skin for the top yet. while your in there just shave the drip rails and the seam at the back of the top.
