I would suggest you try to make a trip to the pace swap meet at Arlington. They usually have quite a few vendors. The best deals usually come about 2-3 Sun afternoon when the vendors are thinking about having to pack it up load it and take it back home with them.
Although I am from Tx I'm from the north end(you know, that part above Dallas nobody else counts as part of the state). There are some vendors in the Houston area and probably some in dallas.

Thumbs up

Ya might try "The Cheyenne Super-man" in Abilene. Good guy to know. Gary Terry is his name. Straight shooter and a standup businessman.

According to mapquest.com Huntington, TX looks to be about half way between Dallas and Houston. I would say either one of those cities have a decent place to order from. I'm not sure whats best in Dallas, but you could try Martel Brothers Racing in Katy.....

If you plan on attending the Dallas swap you can call Kenny's and order your parts. If you prepay he will bring them to the swapmeet. He did mine and didn't charge for hauling them. He's great to deal with.

There was a post a week or two ago about a place in east Texas that had a bunch of old truck parts.

I bought some stuff from Outback in Spring, just off 45 between Conroe and Houston, not far from the airport. Seemed OK and prices are in line with everybody else.
