Featherly Park Truck Show
I was talking to a guy about rear suspensions, he recomended I change my coil springs to leaf springs and 4 link if I decided not to go airbags too still have a smooth ride. Has anyone done this?

Did you smell alcohol on his breath? coils are a much better handling and ride setup than leaf spring, much cheaper to drop and the traction is better with coils. A 4 link is not used with coils or leafsprings it is a totally different suspension you weld in after taking your old suspension out.

Thanks Mothertrucker, this guy had made his own brand of rear end susspension. Not that he was trying to sell me one, but his point was, if I dont go airbags, then do a 4 link or change to leafs for a better and stable ride.
