On my 90 Suburban 4x4 the brake light on the dash flashes 6 times then repeats itself, what does this mean, I can't see to find a referrence chart anywhere. Thanks for the help- Steve

ummm isnt this the 73-87 board not 88-98 board?
lmao i really dont know what it could be... maybe the switch? or you had a new copy of the key? or theres an ignition problem or some other error... try taking it and have the computer diagnostics done, they will tell you whats wrong

Screwball- in the description of this message boad it reads" 73-87 trucks and 73-91 suburbans". So I thought I'd post here seeing as how there are more viewers of this message board than the Suburban message board.

First of all your '90 burb is the same body style as the '73-87 now that isssue is resolved.
If your burb has a factory anti skid system installed then the blinking brake light may be flashing an error code but usually you have to ground out two pins in order for the system to enter the self dianostic mode. It could also be the indicator for the priority valve. |
