i was just wondering if anybody has ever modified a clutch z bar to go around your headers or for whatever your reason may be, just curios as to if anybody has done it and what it involved

I have joggled the ears of my Z-Bar to clear the headers close to the engine.
The process involved heating the ear with a torch and then bending and quenching the hot part. You might look for a recent thread "Clutch Linkage" by sirhollow for a similiar situation.
