67 Bucket seats
Anyone put buckets in a 67?
Good / bad ? Ideas? Are there other car / truck seats that will fit from salvage yard? Appreciate the input. |

Let me stir the gray matter around a minute: 67-68 chevy trucks had a modified bench seat, kinda like most late model Pickups, two semi buckets with a fold down arm rest all on a frame that bolted to the cab floor. 69-72 chevy trucks had true bucket seats with a separate console as did the later 73 up pickups, some with low back seats some with high back seats. If you're looking just for a set of bucket seats a lot of the newer chevy trucks offer bucket seat-console options that will pretty much bolt into the stock seat location. It's pretty much a matter of preference. The original equipment pieces are more expensive than the later model pieces. It all depends on what direction you want to go in! Sorry for the longwinded opinion! Kevin

Before I traded my '67 off, I installed a set of buckets from a '72 Chevelle. You have to raise the seats by 2", so I used 2" square tubing and utilized the original holes. It looked and rode great.
