Valve covers revisted

Flipped them was driving me crazy.

How many times can you reuse valve cover gaskets? They are a cork rubber mix?

Also do they ever seal completely? Seems like on all my old trucks they seep and ooze some?

Buy the rubber ones that are laminated over a metal insert, they cost alot more but they dont leak. I got mine thru summit racing.

I had some cork ones stuck to valvcovers really good with silicone i reused them soo many times i cant even count they are still on the valve covers just got different covers they are pretty smushed down but if i was in a pinch and had a leak id put them right back on without hesitation.
