chrome trim in window seals

Does anyone know where I can order the chrome trim that goes in the side window seals of a suburban. The large windows in the side rear. I can't seem to locate them.

I checked with LMC, they don't carry for the side windows. They have it for the front window at $19.95, but they are unsure if the front is the same length as the side windows.

It just so happens that I just had a new windshield installed and was asking the installer dude if they sold the side window chrome trim. He wasnt sure, but we measured the trim for the windshield and it was perfect fit length wise. I'd stop at a auto glass shop and buy it from them, save on the shipping from LMC. I'd get the lacing tool for installing the trim too, make the job alot easier.

What is this lacing tool you are talking about? I have never heard of it.

LMC's catalogs list the side windows for the Blazer and Suburban as having the same part number as the one for the windshield.
PN 38-6032 Trim Kit, Chrome. 14.95 each, 2 required per vehicle. I am looking at the latest Blazer, Suburban, and pickup catalogs.

The lacing tool spreads the rubber seal so you can insert the chrome strip which is also known as the locking strip. It spreads the window seal to make a tight fit. The installer that did my front windshield had the tool and whipped the chrome strip in like less than 2 minutes. You could probably use a screwdriver to help squeeze the chrome strip in. Me, I'm semi lazy and can always use another tool...lol
