Wanted: 67-72 Rear End, Aux Leaf spring Bracket - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I want a rear end for a 1968 c20 custom camper with a 350 CID and 4 on floor with granny gear. I have the Eaton differential and I am geared too low for any kind of reasonable speed or milage. I guess I have a 4.10:1 and I am looking for something to boost my speed by about 10-20% at the same RPMS so probably a 3.08:1 and it MUST BE an 8 lug 3/4 ton. I would be willing to part with my own rear and diff after installing a new one

I am also looking for the bracket that bolts in between the control arms and axle for the RHS. This is the bracket that the auxilary leaf spring makes contact with when over loaded.

I live in the central kentucky area and would be willing to drive a few hundred any direction to get a hold of these parts. Price is negotiable.

Just putting it back on top and clarifying I am interested in any rear end with a better gear ratio for daily driving.

I have a set of the plates that the overload springs contact. They are NOS never installed- may still have the stickers on them. They do not have the rubber contact pads. $20 + shipping sound ok? Harold

JUst so you know my book shows that in our years 3.54 is the highest speed rear end available in an 8 lug.

Yup, the 3.54 is about as good as it gets while being a 100% bolt in, and they are kinda hard to find since it was with the big block trucks.

the rears are totally differant, the only thing that is interchaingable is the gear oil.
