I found this truck in Oklahoma about a year and a half ago. I had the same 72 gmc short bed 4wd with auto and hugger orange in high school and had to sell it when I went away to school. I couldn't afford to drive the truck home from school because the truck only got eight miles to the gallon.
I sold my first truck in 82 and bought the one in the pictures 21 years later. I looked all over for this truck and flew from San Diego to Oklahoma City when I found it. The truck was in the same family for three generations, grandpa bought the truck new and gave it to his son who in turn gave it to his son. The truck was kept inside and had 76,000 miles on it when I purchased it. This truck brings back great memories of when I was in high school. I drive the truck to work on Fridays and cruise it on the weekends. I really have enjoyed this pickup and I will keep it till the day I die. Thanks for the compliments on the truck. Scott |

The only thing I have left to do on this truck are the window rubbers and felts. Anyone have suggestions on the best place to purchase these.
