1972 GMC 2500 Timing Degrees?
Any Ideas? Fully stock. 6 degrees? 8? little help please

sorry, would help if i put the engine displacement in there, it's a 402cid
sitting at about 4 degrees btdc, trying to make the deiseling stop

Is it idling high? You running low grade fuel?
It shouldn't do that with 4 degrees. I'm thinking (but not sure) that iyt is supposed to be 6 or 8 degrees, which would make your engine behave worse. |
